@RosieCampbell saying "Claude probably isn't conscious" is like saying "The San Francisco Bay probably doesn't have the chemical in it". Which chemical doesn't the Bay have? Which sort of consciousness doesn't Claude have? Here's what I mean in more detail: "Consciousness"

I mean that I think they probably are not having subjective experiences, which looking at your list is probably closest to some combination of #5 and #6 (I agree people use the word in different ways and it gets confusing, but this is my understanding of what is generally meant
