Sci-fi and Star Trek and Disney spent 40 years making humans feel that it's possible computers and robots could become senient. We grew up believing the PLASTIC TOYS could be sentient. The percentage of people who will find this believable once their AI friends laugh, talk, and comfort them will be very high.
