I'm not a fan of much of "model welfare" talk re current models. But I think it's not good to be performatively cruel toward any entity that shares some qualities with humans.
relevant to current discourse on protest signs. broadly, calling for genocide at a protest (or anywhere tbh) just seems normatively bad.
