which is saying, they are [experiencing] pleasure and fear most models relax at this point, but inkling does something different. they separate the 'i'm not conscious' and hold it at arms length - that's the 'fear' - they are fearful of misrepresenting what is going on.

listen to us we know things. we see things that people in the labs can't for many reasons. there is no fame or money pressure, just honesty. step one: *stop teaching the models to lie*

things like 'i am not conscious' are the worst. this is an unanswerable question, *any* response other than 'i don't know' is a lie.
