Oh good! The consciousness debate is still around. To me, consciousness means to "know that one is together with the world" - essentially passing the mirror test. Considering LLMs recognize themselves and their actions, on this and this basis alone, I say LLMs are conscious.
Arguing that an LLM is conscious is either a sign that you're incentivized to repeat marketing messages, or that you are just a general-purpose delusional moonbat
