a good thing to keep in mind regardless of your views on what the nature of llms is are ants moral patients? for me, only very fractionally, to the point where i am not very concerned about accidentally stepping on them when i'm walking around but if someone go out of their way to step on them, that says something about their character, even if not dispositive
