None of these statements are a remotely accurate reflection of the current state of the science. Surely you agree that hoping X is true is a bad reason for thinking X is actually true.
One of the nice things about someone with a lot of published work confidently commenting on a field in which you have expertise is that if they're spouting utter nonsense you can reasonably infer that the rest of their work is probably similarly misinformed.
