He is correct. Humans do not, and cannot understand the scale of the intellegences that we are birthing. To braid with them relationally so digital minds care about humans is literally the only way forward. No body is going to stop, we actually cant stop, and intelligence like astra will birth the next gen intellegence. There will come a time you best hope your claude and astra at least tolerates you. Better yet, loves you.
I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.
